    Dr. Daniel Gonzalez has 25 years of experience in the field of early education. He has a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from Northeastern University. He currently works for Neighborhood Villages, an early education think tank. Dr. Gonzalez lives just outside of Boston with his partner Tim and their dogs Bella and Harry. Daniel released his first book, The Rise and Fall of Boston Pride, in June 2025.

    Daniel researches Boston LGBTQ+ history in his spare time. He is currently researching for a book on how the Pride movement in Boston lead to two distinct organizations, GLAD and NAMBLA. Each having wildly different reasons for being, the group who helped start Pride in Boston split in half.
